The other day, we had a chance to head over to Maak Lab’s production space over at Beam & Anchor in NE Portland. Last year, we had the chance to work with Maak to complete some new packaging and brand identity work, but this meeting was more about pals and less about business.
While we were hanging out, Taylor (one of Maak’s two co-founders) took the time to make us a cup of coffee and show of his cool Yama Coffee Siphon. These sweet coffeemakers use an open flame and glass beakers to create a vacuum-brewed cup; I’m totally getting one for Bandspace soon.
