I feel like, at this point, it should be common knowledge that Band loves baseball. If you hadn’t heard, now you have. This winter, we’ve been playing ball with a group of friends that organizes a group we call the Portland Community Baseball Club. The PCBC is free and open to all ages and skill levels, and we don’t take errors too seriously. If you like baseball, you should come play a little pickup game with us sometime.
During warmer months, the PCBC plays every weekend. We play basic hardball: fast pitch, with strikeouts, and stolen bases. During the winter months the attendance for Saturday Baseball predictably drops, but even through January, a few faithful remain. To celebrate the perseverance of winterball, we teamed up with our pal Ryan to make some PCBC winter tees. Here’s a few shots from our game last weekend.
