Borders Perrin Norrander is a creative advertising firm based here in Portland, Oregon. As a company, the folks at BPN spend their professional time creating intelligent and diverse marketing solutions for their clientele. In the summer of 2011, we started a conversation about doing a promo piece for the ever evolving agency.
Together, we set out to create an honest animated short that fit with our shared ethics and values. Over the process of a month, we built, produced and shot handmade chalk illustrations on massive blackboards, which was used to create a spot for BPN’s reel, and shared some of us in the process.
